Hay!  Ewan ko nga ba kung bakit ganun ang mga langaw!  Hindi ba sila takot sa heights?  Ano nga bang klaseng phobia ito?  Aaaaaaah acrophobia!

Ewan ko nga ba, kung makaasta ay daig pa ang kalabaw!  Power trip and all!  Sheeeeeeeeeeeet them!  Kakainis na nakakatawa!  Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

Ewan ko ba kung ang mga langaw na gantong uri ay sa mga pinoy lang makita!  Basta, ewan sila!  Kung sosyal nga sila dapat hindi sila pumapatol sa mga hayop na nasa paanan lang ng kalabaw!  Pero kasi baka hindi nila alam ang pariralang ito - ” I won’t stoop down to your level”.

Yan lamang po at ako’y maghahanap pa ng langgam sa ibabaw ng kalabaw…

fRIENDS ARE angels in disguise… they are God’s gift to us…

I met this guy 12 years ago in a place where FREEDOM was for free (?).  He was a sophomore then while I was the e engot engot Engineering freshie.  He was already a member of the varsitarian organization while I was still persuaded to join them by one of my kapwa engineering freshie.

If you were to judge him sa unang kita mo sa kanya, masasabi mong sya ay hindi palakaibigan… super tahimik ang taong ito… physically, may itsura sya na habang tinititigan mo ay lalong gumagwapo!  Long hair, tattered jeans… sya ito!

Sa simula, feeling ko he’s the guy na hindi mo makausap ng masinsinan!  Baket?  Para kasing napakalayo nya sa mga tao… But I was really super wrong!  Super approachable ang guy na ito.. any time, pwede mo syang tawagan, kausapin at hingan ng sama ng loob!  He’s just like a doctor on call!

I cannot count the times when I shared to him my sama ng loob… he didn’t give me any special advice but the thought that someone took time to listen to my hinanakit lightned the burden…

This guy also looked so serious but believe me, ang dami nyang kalokohan at jokes na nakakapawi ng lungkot at depression.   Those times when I feel that the world was too small for me, he was always there to lend me his space. 

He was the guy who lightened up my darkest moments… he was the same guy who did some magic in my super dry college life.. he was the same guy who caused me pain and joy at the same time.  I don’t blame him for the pain because it was a self inflicted pain… I was expecting too much from a dear friend… expecting too much of his time… expecting him to be always there for me…

Unfortunately… everything must come to an end…before his 24th Christmas on Earth, he said his final goodbye and started his eternal journey to somewhere beyond this …

My friend, enjoy your journey!

Before anything else, we should first spot the difference between house and home.

1. House is a five (5) letter word while home is a four (4) letter word.

2. House is made of brick and stone while home is made of LOVE alone.

I am spending almost half of my life away from my family but not away from home… 

Make it a habit to nurture your relationship with your ka HOME…  I’ll share with you my secrets:

1.  Pray for a makulit mother …

      She’ll never get tired sa pangungulit kahit sa kalagitnaan ng tulog mo!

2. Pray for a cool dad …

      He will advise you to treat yourself every “allowance” day

3. Pray for a strict brother …

     He will always tell you what is good for you

4. Pray for a supportive sister…

    She will always be there for you.. through thick and thin

5. Pray that your telephone line is not disconnected (because the bill is unpaid)

    So that your mom can still call you and ask you - “NAGTOOTHBRUSH KA NA?”

6. Pray for an auntie who will support you…

    A letter with 20US$ is enough to treat yourself on your birthday

7. Pray for a cousin with almost half a dozen kids…

   Kids always make your day light and beautiful

8. Pray for uncles who are rich spiritually…

    To pray for your spiritual guidance…

Well, these are my secrets of spending my 12 years away from house yet inside our home…

Never get disconnected!

Naransan nyo na bang umibig?  Naransan nyo na bang mabigo?  Naranasan nyo na bang umasa?  Naranasan nyo na bang umiyak?  Naransan nyo na bang managinip ng gising?  Naranasan nyo na bang magmukhang baliw?

Alam kong lahat tayo ay “OO”. “YES”, “SI”, “AIWA” o “HAI” ang sagot!  Dahil lahat tayo ay marunong umibig at nagnanais na iibigin ng taong iniibig!

Pero sadyang masaklap kung minsan ang buhay… Kahit anong pa cute ang gawin mo…sheeet them!  Dedma pa rin ang byuti mo!   Bakit ganun nho!?

A ewan! Ewan basta sadyang ganyan ang buhay!  Kadalasan kung sino pa ang gusto mo ay sya namang ayaw sa yo..

Sige lang, pagdating ng panahon… mapapansin ka rin nya!  Pero hey naman..kay tagal ko nang nag hintay!  Kailan pa ba ang sinsabi nilang PAGDATING NG PANAHO?  Aisa S., help me naman o, san na ba ang sinasabi mong PAGDATING NG PANAHON?!

My gulay.. kung minsan pa tutulo na lang ang laway mo sa tuwing nakikita mo ang iyong mahal na may mahal na iba!   Shux… super sakit!  Believe me. I’ve been there! Tapos, eto pa… makikita mo syang nasasaktan at kumakanta ng STUPID LOVE!  Hala, anong pwede mong gawin!  Goodness… makikijoin ka rin sa pain na nararamdaman nya!

O my… Kung ako na lang sana kasi ang minahal mo!  Pangako hinding hindi ka iiyak!  I swear!   Pangako hindi kita iiwan!  Pangako ikaw lang ang aking iibigin hanggang sa aking huling hininga! …. Kung ako na lang sana! Kung ako na lang sana!  Sana darating pa yun.. sana mabigyan man lang ako ng pagkakataong maipadama sa yo ang aking crazy love….

Sila ang mga taong adik sa mga MADE IN TATE…

Sila ang mga people na mababaw ang kaligayahan…

Sila ang mga taong umiiyak sa tuwing kausap ang kapamilya sa Pinas!

Sila ang mga taong sa sobrang pago ay nakakatulog na ng mahimbing sa kung saan saan…

Aug 2003, I started working sa kompanyang malapit ko nang lisanin.  HOnestly, andami kong benefits na nakuha sa kompany na itoh…. 53 months ago, I was so “the Priest”… as in super to the max mega over.. and it is in this company where the healing process started (charus…)… The work, my new found friends and everything around me helped me accept the sad reality.

Sa kompany na itoh nabuo ulit ang aking pagkatao… I learned to stand on my own. Dati kase, nasanay na akong may “part, blah blah blah… it’s so unfair part”…. nasanay akong may kaibigan na on call……. Sa kompanya na ito I learned to face the “DAMI! NG!” na sigaw ng Japanese… Sa kompanya na itoh I learned to face the bitter sweet reality of life…

Bitter Sweet?  Yes…. because it is in this company where I came to realize na kahit anong effort ang gawin mo, minsan negligible sa pakiwari ng iba… na feeling mo, you gave your super the best shot and yet it remained unnoticed.  Minsan naman pag pinagpala ka, ung mga efforts mo naman ay may super na gantimpala…. Well, in short my stay in this Company opened my eyes to the real world….

It is also in this company where some of my dreams came true…. I consider myself maswerte for being given the chance to spend an 8-day “vacation” in Iwaki, Japan…. Andaming hapon dun, di ko kinaya… Ages ago, I dreamt of becoming a teacher… and bilang katuparan sa pangarap na iyon, I orient newly hired operators, Engineers and Technicians in our Division.  Don’t know if i am an effective teacher pero sana may natutunan sila sa akin….

In my 53 months stay in this company, i believe I gave my best shots…. even some of the BIG MEN in the company believed in me (I hope so…)… They rewarded my “efforts” by promoting me.. Nax naman….. charing…. and I am so happy because the one who shouted “DAMI, NG” on me some years ago is the same person who apppreciated my english spekinensis…. He even asked me - “Where did you learn yur English?”…. I should give credit to my mother nature Inang mahal who tirelessly taught and corrected our pronunciations…..

But then, everything must come to an end.  Kahit anong pilit mong magstay kailangan mo talagang magpaalam… Magpaalam dahil alam mong mas makakabuti iyon sa iyo at sa karamihan.  Actually, may advance award na nga ako eh… I am given a 3-day leave courtesy of suspension… Watta!  The first suspenso in my whole 28 years existence on Earth… It is really so depressing but I know that there is a reason for this… We know naman that God Works in mysterious ways…..

Starting yesterday, I entrust my whole life and being to God….. and my drama in life —- YESTERDAY ENDED LAST NIGHT…..

sa mga upcoming JOBLESS, don’t you worry coz you’re not alone… madami tayo kaya CHILL lang kayo.

Kish..the place where some ”almost-expired-UAE-visit visa holders” run…

If you want to extend your stay in UAE, Kish is one of the best answers.  You just have to spend 1,200 to 1,400 Dhs for the Visa and airfare…Kalas, anaother 2 months stay in UAE! 

For how long are you going to stay there?  Some are lucky enough to have that “A to A” opportunity and for the less fortunate ones…. gulay, they will spend a week or more!  But don’t worry, KISH have a lot to offer…

But I would advise you to stay for a night there and enjoy the SHEESHA with friends and new found friends!

i don't smoke..but I tried SHEESHA! yahow.... SHEESHA serves as a favorite past time for those waiting for their VISAs and/or booking (sa plane ha)the writer and her friend....

When you’re in Kish, you can feel the warmth of the Pinoys and Pinays.  It is as if you perfectly know each other.  CHaruuuzzz..

When you’re in KISH, your ala-J.Lo’s butts are kept behind (?) the ABAYA or trench coat or long shirt!  Wala!  Butts are sacred then!

No Buts, no ifs, just take it my friends!  This is life in Iran!  The hairs are covered… maybe because it is sacred for them!  Really, its amazing to visit a place where the culture is far from what we are used to! 

ALso, enjoy the see breeze… I tell you, KISH is unexploited!  You can see school of fish near the baybayin (seashore) and pawikans (sea turtles?)! Watta!

I tell you my friend, your UAE life is not complete without feeling the white sand of Kish; flying in a bus plane; smoking (?) sheesa; and meeting friendly Filipinos…

Enjoy the ride and cherish the moment!

The song by Kim Chiu reminds me of the movie TEN THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU.  I guess the lyrics of the song was inspired or derived from this movie.  This movie was shown in 1999 with Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles as the main cast.

I was never an addict to English movies ever since I can remember.  In fact, I was “forced” to watch this movie because my College Bisaya friends asked me to.  They rented a VHS copy of this movie for me.  Wahahaha… Why? Because they knew that I would enjoy it. 

I can’t remember the whole story but what strucked me most was the scene when Julia Stiles read her poem: ” I hate the way you look at me, I hate the way you stare; I hate the way you walk;I  hate the way you talk; hate the way you smile; I hate your big brown eyes; I hate the way you cut your long hair; I hate your big damned shoes;…; but I hate myself more bla bla… ”

Back to Kim Chiu’s Crazy Love.  Well, the writer may have patterned the lyrics in this movie but what the heck!  It only shows that in love, race is not an issue!  We all have the same meaning and experiences when it comes to L♥VE!  Love makes you crazy at one point or another.  It is on how we  use the experience of falling in love that makes a difference.

L♥ve…what’s in this four-letter word that makes you cry and smile?  What’s in this four- letter word that makes you laugh and sigh?  What’s in this four-letter word that makes you sane and insane?  What’s in this four-letter word that makes you CRAZY?

L♥ve is just a four-letter but is the most powerful one!  It is the most complicated word.  War ends because of love but war starts because of love!  Whew!  It is really complicated… Is there really a clear definition of L♥ve?
